Minced Garlic

Pin ItOne of my favorite things is minced garlic. Not the dry kind that comes in a spice bottle or jar. I mean the fresh kind that comes in a little tiny jar. Already minced. Or chopped. Or paste. I love this stuff. It smells and tastes just like garlic. 'Cuz it IS garlic. Just already minced. The real thing. Without any effort or hassle. Sigh. 'Tis a beautiful thing.

The small jars are really inexpensive, less than $2. You can usually find it in the produce section, near the real thing. Sometimes you can find it on the spice isle.

For those of you that go through a lot of garlic, you can also get it in a pretty big container, pint or quart or somewhere in between. It is also relatively inexpensive.

I use this garlic in almost anything that calls for minced or chopped garlic.

  1. I've never seen minced garlic in a jar! I always just mince it myself. I will have to look for this because it sure would save me a lot of time.

  2. I know what you mean! This is a staple for me, mostly because I hate chopping garlic, but use it in a lot of recipes. I have never seen it in a jar larger than a few oz. Something to look for...
